Hippity Hoppity

Easter's on it's way!! I have nothing for Little C to wear for his first Easter and the Easter Bunny has no leads on what to put in Little C's first Easter basket. Help!

Little C is at the best age for an Easter basket - you can fill it with things he needs and he won't complain! Ben is getting a snack trap, tub toy, puffs, sippy cup, a portable placemat, and Burt's Bees baby wash. We try to avoid candy (other than a chocolate bunny for Hannah). Hannah usually gets an assortment of spring toys like bubbles, new sidewalk chalk, sunglasses, etc.

It's ok to be average! said...

oh I love these ideas! Especially the snack trap! When I pick Carter up f/ child watch at the YMCA, there is little girl that always has one, but she's a little older so I didn't think to try it out. I bet he could totally figure it out if there was food involved! Any particular brand or type you'd recommend/suggest to stay away from?

We used the snack-trap from Babies R Us for Hannah and are planning on using that same brand for Benjamin. We haven't used any other brands but I would guess they all work about the same. The ones we started using when Hannah was a baby are still going strong 3 years later! We usually filled them with cheerios, puffs, and the freeze-dried fruits from Whole Foods (I think the brand is called Just Tomatoes). Now that she is older we also put cheddar bunnies and trail mix in them.
